Opportunity:
Physician - Orthopaedic Surgery
Job Details:
Handle approximately 25 patient encounters per shift providing comprehensive orthopedic services
Perform arthroscopic procedures across various joints
Conduct total joint replacements including hip, knee, and other joints
Manage joint revision and repair procedures for shoulder, hip, knee, and other joints
Perform tendon release and repair procedures
Locums-to-permanent position opportunity starting June 1, 2026
Must maintain active Kentucky medical license
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Board certification preferred but not required
45-day credentialing timeframe
Fellowship training preferred (3 years)
Access to Lexington, KY and Knoxville, TN airports for travel convenience
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
