Billing Process Intern
Goldberg Segalla LLP, a national law firm with more than 23 offices in 11 states, has an immediate opportunity for a Billing Process Intern in its Buffalo office. This role involves supporting various administrative and billing functions within the organization.
Working on special projects based off workflow need
Helping with overflow of the Billing Process Team
Adding Matters into ebilling sites
Checking Timekeepers in ebilling sites
Special assignments to cover staff when they are on leave or out of the office
Perform other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, scanning, etc.
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
Sophomore or Junior academic standing preferred
Exceptional attitude and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Works well in a team environment
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Schedule:
The position has the opportunity for up to 20 hours during the semester and 30 hours during academic breaks
Required Skills/Abilities & Experience:
Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to use math/calculations
Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens
May be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projects
Works well in a team environment
Repetitive movement of hands and fingers typing and/or writing
Ability to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervision
Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences
Ability to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial nature
Benefits:
The hourly compensation for this position is $16.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
