What You’ll Do
Supervise daily maintenance operations to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Partner with Production and Quality teams to complete maintenance work in production areas.
Oversee maintenance safety practices and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Address equipment issues related to quality or food safety immediately and implement preventative solutions.
Ensure that critical parts are in stock or readily available to reduce downtime.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Work with Production Manager, Quality Manager, and production team to complete all maintenance tasks within production areas, including, but not limited to the following:
Supervision: Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure all tasks are being completed on time and accurately.
Safety: Supervise maintenance safety practices and training to be compliant with company expectations and regulatory requirements.
Address equipment problems related to quality or safety at once and work to prevent recurrence.
Research methods and equipment to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
Establish and maintain superior organization with parts inventory, PM program, records, and shop cleanliness.
Ensure that critical parts are in stock or readily available to reduce downtime.
Supervise maintenance programs to sustain audit-ready standards every day.
Pasteurizer: Familiar with pasteurization concepts, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
Inspections: Maintenance liaison for regulatory and customer inspections.
Projects: Significant role for production projects, new equipment, and expansion.
Production Process: Knowledge of PC based machine control systems.
Effectively promotes Company values and culture drivers.
Perform all duties in a safe manner.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills & Attributes
5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (dairy/food industry is a plus).
3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience, including team development
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to clearly share information in one‑on‑one and group settings
Consistent, organized, and self‑disciplined professional with a commitment to continuous learning. High emotional intelligence and keeps personal biases out of the decision-making process.
Stays on top of the food safety regulations and industry trends for the creamery and the entire organization.
Portrays unquestionable integrity in all dealings and relationships. Gives honest and accurate accounting of self, others, and situations.
Attending to every detail of our business with a sense of urgency, enthusiasm, and thoroughness as if failure to do so would result in a lost vat of cheese or customers.
