Heavy Equipment Service Manager – Your Job Duties
Lead the Service Department operations for a tenured team
Manage and develop service team, overseeing shop operations and technician
Improve technician productivity, service department KPIs, and work order closure performance
Drive service department financial performance and support profitability goals
Handle escalated customer service issues and strengthen customer relationships
Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards across the service team
Collaborate with equipment sales, rental, and parts departments to support customer success
Heavy Equipment Service Manager – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)
Prior experience leading aservice department or machinery service team
Demonstrated success supervising service, shop teams, or service technicians
Experience managing service department KPIs, technician productivity, or work order performance
Strong leadership presence with the ability to bring structure and accountability to a tenured team
Experience handling customer service escalations and maintaining strong customer relationships
Strong Excel skills with the ability to review and analyze service department reports
Prior experience improving service department processes and operational performance
