We are currently seeking a

Business Intelligence and Visualization Specialist

to serve as a vital contributor to the firm's Data and Innovation Team by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decision-making across the firm. This role partners closely with stakeholders to design impactful dashboards, deliver compelling data stories, and help shape the firm's business intelligence standards.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who thrives on simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes, can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, and brings a collaborative mindset to brainstorming and team-based problem solving.

This position can be based in Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
Translate business goals and user needs into experience-driven analytics solutions and data products, including user journeys, personas, wireframes, interaction patterns, success metrics (KPIs), and detailed design specifications.
Design and deliver intuitive, user-centered dashboards, data products and digital/AI experiences that transform data into clear, actionable insights while reinforcing a cohesive and consistent design language across the firm.
Apply UX, UI, and data visualization best practices to create visually compelling, accessible, and highly usable analytics experiences that enable rapid comprehension and confident decision-making.
Advocate for data quality as a core user experience principle, collaborating with data owners to identify issues that impact trust, usability, and interpretability-and drive remediation efforts.
Continuously evaluate and refine dashboards, reports, and interfaces through usability testing, feedback loops, and design iteration, maintaining high standards for accuracy, clarity, and visual excellence.
Create and maintain design documentation (design systems, standards, patterns, and usage guidelines) to support consistency, scalability, and cross-team collaboration.
Develop a holistic understanding of the end-to-end data experience lifecycle, working with stakeholders to align data governance, standards, and processes with user needs and business outcomes.
Craft and deliver compelling data narratives through presentations, visual storytelling, and executive-ready materials that translate complex information into meaningful insights.
Lead experience-focused analytics initiatives from concept through delivery, coordinating requirements, design, development, rollout, and enablement with cross-functional partners including IT, Finance, and HR.
Stay current with emerging design, visualization, and digital experience trends and technologies, proactively introducing innovations that elevate the firm's analytics and insight experiences.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or related field is required.
Minimum three years of experience in a relevant role using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma or similar tools to translate data into meaningful insights.
Proficiency with standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, etc. strongly preferred.
Experience with and understanding of UI/UX principles and graphical design best practices.
High-level proficiency with data management, analysis, critical thinking, and reporting.
Experience with AI to streamline development.
Strong skills in documenting requirements and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Outstanding communication skills to build professional relationships via email, video, phone and in person. This position will frequently interact with attorneys to clarify and verify information. A collaborative approach to working with all levels and departments is required.
Ability to self-direct, manage multiple priorities, analyze needs, and implement solutions under time constraints.
Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy in work product to ensure that data is entered correctly at the outset and is maintained accurately.
