Title: Mainframe Administrator (Onsite)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay rate: $50/h r
Client is not looking for a Mainframe developer or Tester. The resource is expected to have extensive knowledge and experience working on Mainframe mainly on administration of Mainframe as a platform.
Role/Skill:
Mainframe System Administrator/Mainframe Infrastructure
Job Descriptions:
Mainframe z/OS Admin responsible for managing IBM z/OS operating system In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS operating systems and infrastructure
Mainframe technical sustainment experience (i.e. zOS version upgrades)
Experienced in installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of z/OS operating systems and related infrastructure
Expert knowledge in Mainframe Security & Compliance, security protocols (e.g., Top Secret/TSS), and ensuring data security
Able to collaborate and engage with infrastructure teams to resolve complex, interdependent issue
Extensive knowledge/experience on the following: Z/OS CICS DB2 Easytrieve ChangeMan, Endevor MSUs MQ ESP, dSeries Systemware Content Cloud System IPL
Years of experience:
Minimum of 8 years
