Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.00/hr Depending on Experience
Shift: 7AM - 5PM Mon - Fri

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused
Material Handler/Yard Associate
to join a leading lumber and building materials company in Hilton Head, SC. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts, handling lumber, and using chainsaws to accurately cut engineered wood orders.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move lumber and building materials.
Use chainsaws and other power tools to cut engineered wood orders to precise specifications.
Assist with pulling and staging customer and contractor orders in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and work area.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Work effectively with team members and customers to ensure quality service.
Requirements:
Prior experience operating forklifts (certification a plus).
Experience using chainsaws and cutting engineered wood.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an outdoor environment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time, day shift schedule.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
