Job Description
Work Schedule:
7: 30 AM-4: 30 PM or 8: 00 AM-5: 00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Top Skill Sets:
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with external customers and internal business units
Quick learner with solid computer skills, including Microsoft tools and proprietary systems
Strong reporting skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the permitting process from initiation through completion.
Receive, track, and organize incoming permitting requests to ensure they remain on schedule.
Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to gather required documentation and information for permit completion.
Provide regular status updates and reports regarding permitting requests to relevant stakeholders.
Submit permit applications to the appropriate authorities and manage the process through final approval.
Serve as a primary point of contact between internal teams and external permitting entities.
Work effectively with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate trustworthiness, motivation, and the ability to build confidence and respect within the team.
Promote and demonstrate corporate responsibility and professionalism.
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of related experience in permitting or project management.
Knowledge of real estate industry practices, procedures, and documentation.
Experience within the electrical utility industry is preferred.
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
Proven ability in organization and team collaboration.
Skill Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with minimal guidance.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate complex issues into clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Capability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment to achieve overall objectives.
