In this role, you'll ensure our irrigation systems operate efficiently and sustainably while contributing to a positive, service-oriented environment for residents, families, and team members.
What You'll Do
Inspect, maintain, adjust, and repair existing irrigation systems to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency.
Program and maintain automatic irrigation controllers in alignment with the landscape care plan.
Design, install, test, and maintain new irrigation systems and components.
Troubleshoot system malfunctions, wiring issues, and water waste concerns.
Replace valves, timers, controllers, and other irrigation components as needed.
Operate and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment used in irrigation installation and repair.
Order supplies and maintain authorized inventory of parts and equipment.
Organize and prioritize work assignments, ensuring timely and safe completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Build respectful, professional relationships with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
Participate in committees, safety initiatives, and campus-wide efforts that support our collaborative culture.

What You Bring
Experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
Experience installing and servicing irrigation valves and sprinkler timers.
Ability to troubleshoot irrigation wiring and controller systems.
Valid California driver's license with a good driving record.
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow written and verbal work requests in English.
Sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
