Diesel Mechanic

Shift 3rd Shift Description Inspect, diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Perform regular, routine check-ups and preventive maintenance on diesel powered tractors, live haul trailers and feed haul trailers. Troubleshoot faults, repairing or replacing defective/damaged components. Inspect and diagnose trailer malfunctions. All other relevant duties to the position. Requirements Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record required. Working knowledge of diesel mechanics required. Physical Requirements Travel regularly to assigned farms. Frequently lift 50 lbs. Walk in an outside environment (including inclement weather conditions) on a daily basis. Constantly subject to dusty and hot environments. Frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
