Pediatrician Opportunity - Sacramento, CaliforniaOutpatient Only No Call or Weekends FQHC Setting
Position OverviewJoin a mission-driven, multi-site FQHC located on the east side of Sacramento. This is a permanent, outpatient-only Pediatrician position offering exceptional work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful community impact.
Position DetailsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Call: None
Weekends: None
Setting: Outpatient only, FQHC / community health clinic
Patient Volume & Workflow:Approximately 22 patients per day20-minute appointment slots (3 patients per hour model)Includes 2 telehealth visits per day40 minutes of administrative time built into the scheduleProviders realistically average 2.2 patients per hour accounting for no-showsNo double-booking
Experience & Expectations:FQHC or community health outpatient clinic experience preferredComfortable practicing in a 3 patients per hour modelAbility to complete charts within 72 hours requiredConfidence and proficiency managing in-basket responsibilities including patient messages, medication refills, and lab resultsExperience utilizing translation services is helpful (more than 48% of patients speak a language other than English)
Care Team:Work closely with physicians, NPs, PAs, behavioral health, and dental teams in a collaborative environment
EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
