Job Description:
Our project is built on a multi-tier architecture including Service Oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications using Java and various other COTS products.
Build and maintain highly complex, high-volume, large scale, scalable, maintainable and extensible software on a Java/J2EE application stack using full software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodology from concept, design, and documentation to testing, ensuring specification compliancy and adhering to coding standard
Analyzes user/business needs and functionality to plan and assign with the design of software systems to meet those needs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience :
• 3-5 years' experience in software development with an understanding of Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ORM Tools (Hibernate), Java Build tools, Angular 13+, Junit testing, and REST Services. Relational Database, and SQL
• 1+ year of large-scale application experience
• Healthcare, Medicaid or Health Exchange experience preferred
Skills
• Ability to write simple and complex SQL Queries, preferably with DB2 SQL syntax including PL/SQL.
• Good analytical and multitasking skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; Critical thinking and creative problem solving
