The Software Engineering Intern role will engage on coding, testing, and debugging of embedded systems for commercial cooking equipment. You are a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and possess an excellent work ethic.
How You'll Make an Impact
• Will work in cross functional teams with software, electrical, and mechanical engineers to support embedded systems in practical applications.
• Develop and document standalone applications to support embedded systems for testing and to support manufacturing.
• Will work on documentation to support embedded systems testing and debugging.
• Begin development of CI/CD pipeline for unit testing and programming tools.
What You Offer
• You are actively pursuing a degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering.
• With a working knowledge of C/C++. Knowledge of Python is encouraged but not required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals with the ability to read, converse, and understand technical English give you a strong foundation to perform this role.
• You possess strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• You are mechanically inclined and have experience with powered hand tools.
• You can read schematics and possess good dexterity in hands/fingers. Physically, you must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
