Wound, Burn and Ostomy Physician

As a key contributor, you will utilize your specialized skills to treat a variety of wounds, implement preventative strategies, and educate patients to promote healing and prevent recurrence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in wound care management, including treating skin reactions, vascular and diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, and managing complex wounds such as surgical and traumatic injuries. Your ability to perform debridement, apply advanced therapies like hyperbaric oxygen, and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans will ensure positive patient outcomes.

Required Skills:
Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
Proven experience in wound care management
Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to treat various wound types with advanced therapies

Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in Wound Care or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Experience in outpatient clinic settings
Knowledge of bioengineered skin applications and skin grafting procedures
Comfort with patient education and support for wound care techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound or vascular care
Prior work in outpatient wound care clinics or hospital outpatient departments

Availability from December 8, 2025, to March 31, 2026
Ability to obtain temporary privileges at the facility
Willingness to travel as needed; facility reimburses travel costs, lodging, and rental vehicles
