In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As a seasoned Business Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to drive business solutions and excel in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. With a strong understanding of the SDLC, you will effectively manage stakeholders and users while facilitating requirement workshops.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder engagement, requirement workshops, and process mapping to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
* Impact and Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough impact and gap analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
* Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders and users through effective communication, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed throughout the project lifecycle.
* Solution Guidance: Guide technical teams by providing clear business requirements and process maps to ensure solutions meet business needs.
* Communication and Liaison: Articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to liaison between lines of business and the development team, ensuring seamless collaboration and solution delivery.

* Experience in an Agile environment - collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum teams
* Backlog refinement -Defining Epics, Features, User stories and acceptance criteria
* Process modelling and storyboarding
* Adapt integration scenarios and interface descriptions
* User interface specification
* Rules, data and interface specification
* Stakeholder engagement -e.g. business and technology SMEs to understand existing processes and systems
* Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
* Perfect communication and presentation skills
* Tools: Jira, Confluence
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Experience in equivalent positions
* Experience in transportation industry
* Fluent English language required.
