11 experienced multi-discipline clinicians in our group with open arms for a 12th!
Our College Park office is 5400 sq ft, 9 years old; located in a mixed used retail/professional office campus atop a Wholes Foods 3 blocks South of UMD College Park. This is the Sister office of our White Oak, Silver Spring office.
Our White Oak office is 6400 sq ft., 18 Years old, located in a well established medical office building with other physicians and medical services which have no interest in our business.
18 minutes apart, our College Park office has catalyzed White Oak. Both are large, bright offices developed to compete with hospital-based outpatient rehab facilities. We serve a mixed patient population in which ~ 30% engage with us without a physician's referral. Others arrive from primary care physicians, specialist physicians and past patients via word of mouth. Our Professional Team Members feature 7 various clinical specialties and we are DME (Durable Medical Equipment) credentialed suppliers.
Our history and reputation commands 30,000 lives in our database and continues to mushroom.
50% of active cases are repeat clientele.
Our approximate clinical case mix percentages are: adolescents (10%), sport injuries (15%), general adult and senior orthopedics (55%), CVA’s, or other severe functionally impaired (8%); the remaining 20% are our hand and upper extremity cases reserved for our CHTs. Our patient beneficiary mix is: Medicare (22%), commercial/military/veterans (45%), Medicaid (18%), work related (8%), auto accidents or other liability (7%). We're 100% independent and expanding again this year hear within the DC Metro & into Colorado.
Continuity and culture remain top assets to our group association; thus, we refrain from on-boarding part-time and/or contract clinicians......this is what creates the outpatient experience 'clinicians' look for.
Responsibilities
New Graduates Encouraged. Manage a comfortable schedule with the assistance of competent support staff and a user friendly EMR. All bodywork tables are hi lo's with optional curtains in wide open space. Both offices feature near identical setup and organization. There are several ways to earn in addition to a base income. The candidate must be a genuine care-giver whose manual/osteopathic skills are exceptional and other interventional techniques are engaging. Our current group comprised of 13 diversely credentialed therapists. The owner of this group practice has served two consecutive terms as the Payment & Policy Chair for APTA's Maryland Chapter and 7 of our past employed clinicians have moved on to begin their own practices. New therapists to our group enjoy a $2K/year Cont. Ed benefit
