GENERAL SUMMARY

As a busser, you would be responsible for setting and clearing food service areas, stocking service stations, and delivering outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: fulfilling member requests, assisting the food and beverage team, and completing tasks assigned by the food and beverage leadership team.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

* Must be willing to work as a team player with all Club staff.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned food service areas.
* Responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations.
* Set and prepare service areas for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
* Ensure tableware is in good working condition and report any defects for repair.
* Maintain proper and adequate supply and set-up of supplies needed for a successful service.
* Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
* Clears dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
* Resets all service ware as prescribed.
* Transport all dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
* Remain up to date on upcoming Club events.
* Maintain open communication with all team members.
* Utilize the 10'-5' rule in all interactions.
* Recognize and address any problems resulting from member or guest complaints.
* Notify management of unsafe conditions, maintenance issues, or damage to equipment
* Perform other duties as assigned and requested by Management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and converse effectively.
* Ability to follow and execute instructions thoroughly.
* Basic understanding of equipment operation and ability to follow instructions for safe use.
* Ability to read labels and product information.
* Ability to solve problems and adapt in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
* Interpret instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram formats.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the Club

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* 1-year previous bussing experience is required, 2 years bussing preferred

* Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the dishwashing area for extended periods.
* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* While performing essential functions, the employee will be in an indoor, controlled environment and occasionally outdoors, with a moderate noise level.
