Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, and real estate coordinators to prepare permit applications for railroad permitting to facilitate construction impacts related to transmission line and substation expansion projects
Complete and submit permit applications, and pursue application through timeframe until permit is issued or authorized
Obtain permitting authorizations for all crossings related to linear transmission line projects, including but not limited to: railroad crossings and turnpike crossings
Obtain entry and access permits
Support environmental permitting tasks if requested
Support fiber and communication permitting tasks if requested
Interact with construction contractors for electrical transmission lines, fiber, road building, foundations, geotechnical, survey, and restoration with respect to permitting needs and have an understanding of railroad permitting compliance
Support Client needs as directed
Assist with document research
Provide assistance to client on electrical distribution projects

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related environmental field from an accredited curriculum
Valid driver's license required

Required Experience
Minimum five years of experience with permitting Pennsylvania linear projects

Required Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Capable of working with diverse skill sets in fast paced environment
Team player focused on Client service
Excellent Time Management Skills
Well-organized and able to simultaneously pursue and track multiple project permitting efforts
