LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Logistics Specialist will report to operations management. This team member is responsible for the coordination and oversight of DME orders once they are placed. This position is the point person with customer service, sales, field clinical team, operations, and warehouse shipping staff to ensure accurate and timely orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a liaison between the Customer Service department, Shipping, Operations, Manufacturing, and Field Clinical Representatives (FCRs) to facilitate the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
* Monitor field and distribution center inventory levels and provide metrics and inventory reports upon request
* Coordinate delivery times and dates with carriers and customer service/end users
* Assist in managing delivery changes or reroutes to meet field team & Customer Service requests
* Engage in inventory availability discussions with customer service and warehouse operations
* Manage FCR fulfillment selection for all orders, ensuring smooth order delivery
* Maintain distribution records to facilitate payment and timely invoicing
* Coordinate cycle counts of Finished Goods in the field & support traceability and discrepancy investigations
* Work with Quality Assurance to process returned materials when needed.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer service teams to propose & implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize shipping & product fulfillment processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of experience in the DME/Healthcare/Med Device industry, preferred.
* Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to requests promptly.
* Ability to work in a cross-collaborative team environment, improving synergy and productivity.
* Proficient in MS Office applications and able to learn department and job-specific software systems.
* Familiar with ERP systems and practices.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.
* Pay range: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 + Annual Bonus
