InterSystems IRIS / Caché Developer
to work on a
Contract Role (12+ Months + Ext.)
=On-site/Hybrid at Tallahassee FL 32399
with a
Direct Client = only on W2.
Position Overview:
This role will support modernization and enhancement of the Department’s Health Management System (HMS), with a strong focus on InterSystems IRIS/Caché development, database engineering, integrations, and healthcare data systems.
What You’ll Be Working On:
You would help design, develop, support, and enhance enterprise healthcare applications and databases, including:
Developing and supporting applications built on InterSystems IRIS / Caché / ObjectScript
Database design, SQL development, and data modeling
Building and supporting integrations and web services
Troubleshooting production issues and implementing enhancements
Supporting Agile delivery activities (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Release Planning)
Creating technical documentation and supporting UAT
Working in a secure healthcare data environment following compliance standards
Required Skills & Experience:
Must Have:
5+ years with InterSystems IRIS / Caché / ObjectScript
5+ years of database design, SQL, and data modeling
Strong experience with:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
jQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML, Bootstrap
Web Services / SOAP integrations
Experience with object-oriented programming
Preferred / Nice to Have:
InterSystems Ensemble / HealthShare
ASP.NET or Cache Server Pages (CSP)
SSL, Encryption, Java Keystores
FTP/SFTP/PGP protocols
HIPAA or healthcare data compliance experience
Government or public-sector project experience
