About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead the strategic and operational execution of global clinical trials. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that trials are conducted in adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. This role involves directing clinical trial management and global site management functions, contributing to portfolio strategy, and translating development strategies into actionable clinical plans. The VP will also be tasked with fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement within the clinical operations teams, as well as driving enrollment acceleration initiatives and proactive risk-based approaches to recruitment and retention.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of clinical operations experience within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments. The role requires proven leadership experience in overseeing clinical trial management and global site management functions, as well as a strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience leading global, multicenter trials across multiple phases, including late-stage and registration studies, and the ability to assess and transform capabilities through AI and automation solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to work onsite four days per week and be open to up to 30% domestic and international travel.
