About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President to lead data governance operations within its financial services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across various systems and reports. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and operational workflows, as well as developing dashboards and metrics to monitor data quality and operational performance. The AVP will also support reporting requirements, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with IT for system enhancements.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, data management, or related disciplines, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in data governance or asset management operations. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and financial data platforms is essential, along with a strong knowledge of financial instruments and transaction lifecycles. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and documentation, as is experience in implementing data governance policies and operational improvements.
