Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) covering a maternity leave from August through the end of November. This contract role is located near vibrant Crystal Lake, IL, serving a welcoming school community in Harvard. One bilingual SLP with Spanish fluency is especially needed to enrich services for diverse students. You’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, for a supportive and collaborative program. This temporary position offers the chance to work alongside other dedicated professionals and gain valuable school-based experience in a positive educational environment. Key Qualifications:Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility to obtainCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome for considerationSchool-based experience strongly valuedBilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred for one positionStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Primary Responsibilities:Deliver speech and language therapy services to students on a school-based caseloadConduct assessments, create Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and monitor student progressCollaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student successComplete documentation and required reports in accordance with school and state guidelines This is an excellent opportunity to further your impact as an SLP, gain additional school-based skills, and work with a supportive team in a structured setting.
