A leader in construction reinforcement and steel products is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support its growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing finance professional to deepen their expertise in financial planning and analysis while partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a key business unit. This role will play a critical part in delivering insights, building financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Support financial performance management by analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals
Perform variance analysis and translate financial results into meaningful insights for leadership
Support evaluation of capital investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators
Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements
Partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to support decision-making
Contribute to month-end close processes, including analysis and reporting of financial results
Support special projects and process improvement initiatives across the finance function
Qualifications
4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting (manufacturing or distribution experience preferred)
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP; SAP BPC preferred
Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
