Position Details (Field Service Engineer)
Location: Austin, TX
Pay: $35–40/hr+ (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday regular shift. Lots of OT available.
Travel: High Travel (50+% being away from home)
Environment: Cleanroom setting

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites
Conduct preventive maintenance and system diagnostics to minimize downtime and improve tool performance
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Replace defective components and ensure proper system functionality
Support equipment relocations, upgrades, and process improvements
Work in confined cleanroom environments while following all safety and compliance standards
Collaborate with senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and system updates
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally
Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) and continuous learning to stay current on equipment and processes
Execute assigned tasks with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
