Compensation:
$100k - $130k (Potential flex)+ Discretionary Bonus + 3 weeks PTO + 401k matching (4% match if you contribute at least 5%)
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our Shared Services team. This individual will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting across a multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with external CPAs and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns including preparing/overseeing areas such as real property, personal property and sales and use tax. Partner with our external CPAs in the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
Tax Planning:
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and optimize the company’s tax position.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly taxable income numbers for multi-entity environment including presentation to owners/leadership and monitoring GAAP vs. Tax differences. Prepare annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards, ensuring accurate tax-related disclosers in financial statements
Audit Coordination:
Manage and coordinate tax audits with external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues that arise.
Legislative Monitoring:
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization, advising senior management of potential implications.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving tax processes and efficiencies
Overall:
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required, CPA or Masters in Tax preferred
Prefer 5-7 years in tax/accounting work experience, Healthcare experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Detailed oriented with strong organization and time management skills
Ability to solve problems and think critically
Demonstrated professionalism and responsible enough to take ownership of projects
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Dynamics (GP) system experience a plus
Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision and multiple deadlines
