
Speech Language Pathologist

Conducts speech and language screenings, without interpretation, using protocols developed by the supervising Speech and Language Pathologist. Follows and implements documented IEP plans or protocols. Documents student progress toward meeting established objectives and reports information to the SLP. Assists the SLP during assessments by preparing materials and performing clerical duties. Prepares therapy materials and/or equipment for classroom and therapy activities. Adapts or modifies instructional materials and/or equipment based on student needs. Assists in maintaining student records and preparing reports. Treating speech and language disorders Administering speech and language evaluations Treat speech and language problems Administer diagnostic speech and language evaluations Evaluate, and provide speech-language therapy for students with identified speech-language impairments Participate in speech/language hearing screenings Provide speech language pathology/dysphasia services Provide speech language therapy treatment to referred patients Evaluate client for speech and language therapy Determine speech/language needs of child Measure patient's speech and language Provide speech therapy only evaluations Perform therapeutic speech and language treatments Provide skilled speech therapy services Treat speech, language, and hearing disorders Provide rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders Swallowing disorders by speech pathologists Treat all referred speech/language pathology patients Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings Provide speech therapy for all types of speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders Critical Information Schedule: 7:45am-3:45pm M-Th; 7:45am-1:15pm on Fridays. 37.5 hours weekly. Local candidates only, available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date. Education/Licenses Needed Associates Degree. Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License in the State of Arizona.
