Production Associate / Operator

JOB SUMMARY: The Production Associate / Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by assisting machine operators, handling parts, performing basic assembly and packaging tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow on the production floor. This role focuses on maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while working in a team-oriented environment under supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow all plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures, including proper use of PPE • Assist machine operators and work at presses to remove and handle parts • Separate parts from scrap and perform basic assembly tasks • Prepare and package products using totes, skids, bags, and boxes as per requirements • Label, stack, and move packaged materials to storage or next operation • Interpret work orders and job control procedures accurately • Maintain production efficiency and meet daily output goals • Ensure safety devices are in place and report unsafe conditions or behaviors • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Work collaboratively in a team and support co-workers as needed • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules and work instructions • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.) • Ability to use a tape measure • Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors • High school diploma or equivalent • 3–6 months of related experience or equivalent training Education: High School
