Area Superintendent

PACE CONCRETE LTD Now hiring Area Superintendent in Houston, TX (Harris County). Salary: $53,165/year. Full-time, permanent, on-site position. No remote work available. Duties: Coordinate day-to-day field operations to ensure alignment with project specifications, schedules, and safety requirements; interpret structural plans, drawings, and technical documents to define construction sequencing; plan daily work scopes and manage deployment of laborers and operating engineers; track site progress, evaluate workmanship and equipment condition, and address deviations from safety and quality standards; coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and logistical issues; develop and maintain rolling estimates for materials, equipment, and labor; initiate and monitor material and equipment orders; provide on-site guidance in construction methods, safety practices, and equipment use; layout reference points and take field measurements; maintain detailed logs of workforce activity, production output, and equipment usage; identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. Requirements: High School diploma or GED and 6 months of experience as a construction foreman, construction supervisor, field supervisor, site superintendent, or related construction supervisory role. Experience in coordinating construction site activities, interpreting plans, and supervising field operations. Position requires travel within Harris County, TX on a weekly basis.
