We are seeking a hands-on
Process Engineer
who enjoys solving problems, improving operations, and working closely with plant teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability. This role collaborates with Operations, R&D, and Quality to support daily production and lead projects that drive measurable improvements in performance and cost.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with operations to improve production processes, material flow, quality, and efficiency
Lead process and equipment improvement projects from design through implementation
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
Support equipment specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning
Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and output
Review maintenance activities and spending to ensure alignment with budget goals
Develop scopes of work, coordinate contractors, and verify project completion
Create and maintain process documentation (P&IDs, BFDs, SOPs)
Partner with R&D and Quality to implement improvements that meet product and safety standards
Establish and audit quality control checkpoints
Provide technical support and training to operations teams
Support risk assessments, process safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
3+ years of relevant process engineering or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and reports
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience improving plant processes, efficiency, or material flow
Familiarity with fluid systems, separation processes, or chemical processing is a plus
