Our client is currently seeking a Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant
Key Responsibilities
Rewrite and refactor existing ETL/data movement logic to support new upstream data sources while preserving existing warehouse structures
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning
Build, modify, and maintain integrations using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - Data Integration module
Develop and enhance SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs using Microsoft Visual Studio
Analyze source-to-target mappings and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance
Collaborate closely with internal data engineers, analysts, and architects in a team-based environment
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
Participate in code reviews and follow established development and deployment standards
Required Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience developing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries
Strong, recent experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - specifically the Data Integration module
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter alone will not be sufficient
Proven experience creating and modifying SSIS packages and jobs in Microsoft Visual Studio
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL patterns, and relational database design
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
