About the Role
We are hiring an
Application Support Engineer
to join our client's production support team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced financial environment supporting mission-critical applications. You'll help ensure system stability, troubleshoot real-time issues, and support business continuity in a high-impact setting.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support production applications to ensure high availability and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time
Analyze system errors, logs, and performance metrics to identify root causes
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution
Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders during incidents
Support deployment activities and ensure adherence to operational processes
Work in a high-pressure environment with strict SLAs and quick turnaround times
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in Application/Production Support or similar roles
Strong experience with WebLogic (including WebLogic Portal) and/or IIS
Working knowledge of Java-based applications
Experience with web servers such as Apache
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace (preferred)
Exposure to job scheduling tools like Autosys (nice to have)
Experience with Pega reporting (nice to have)
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
