At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Imaging Services team depends on strong coordination and patient support. We’re seeking a detail-oriented
Radiology Clerk
to manage front desk operations, scheduling, and documentation while ensuring a seamless experience for patients and clinical teams.
What You’ll Do
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule inpatient and outpatient imaging procedures and explain exam prep
Register patients and process required documentation accurately
Enter charges and maintain imaging records and logs
Maintain and manage radiology film library including storage, retrieval, and duplication
Verify patient information, authorizations, and financial documentation
Coordinate with clinical teams to support patient flow and department operations
Monitor workflow and communicate delays or issues to leadership
Maintain supplies, logs, and department records
Handle subpoenas, reports, and documentation requests as needed
What You Bring
Knowledge of office operations, scheduling, and customer service
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency; Meditech and PACS experience preferred
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
