Job Title:
Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate:
$18/hr.
Shift:
1st

Role is responsible for accurately receiving raw materials, packaging, and supplies;maintaining inventory records, assisting with purchase;and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition
Match deliveries to purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to unload, move, and store materials safely
Enter receiving and inventory data into computerized inventory and ERP systems
Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as scheduled
Identify, report, and help resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
Maintain accurate receiving paperwork, logs, and inventory records
Provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse and production staff as needed
Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized receiving area
Required Qualifications
Prior experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Forklift certification and hands-on forklift operating experience
Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, Microsoft Office)
Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and shipping documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate material handling equipment throughout the shift
