You'll travel extensively across North America and occasionally internationally, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge equipment while partnering closely with engineering and technical support teams. Field Service Technician
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electro-mechanical and laser processing systems at customer facilities
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades on installed equipment
Install and commission new systems and retrofit upgrades in the field
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Document service activities and provide detailed technical reports after service visits
Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex issues and improve system performance
Provide remote technical support when not traveling

Qualifications
Technical degree in Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or related field - or 5+ years of relevant field service experience
Ability and willingness to travel up to 80%, primarily throughout the U.S. and Canada, with occasional international travel
Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment such as CNC machines, PLC-based systems, or automated machinery
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills with ability to work with electrical, optical, and mechanical test equipment
Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to work independently at remote customer sites
U.S. Citizen with a valid passport and ability to pass required background/security checks
Proficiency using standard PC tools and documentation systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
