Required skills:
As a member of the End User Compute team, you will support a targeted enterprise initiative by designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software packages for deployment across a global endpoint environment. Your primary focus will be the packaging, testing, remediation, and lifecycle management of applications for Windows and macOS platforms, ensuring compatibility with least-privilege and Secure Workstation standards. This role includes close collaboration with endpoint engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve installer defects, reduce application privilege requirements, and ensure reliable automated deployment through enterprise management platforms. The ideal candidate brings hands-on
experience with large-scale application packaging efforts, thrives in fast-paced, project-driven environments, and is comfortable working through complex application install and elevation challenges at scale.
Software Packaging & Deployment:
Package, test, and deploy Windows-based applications through MS Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and cloud-based solutions.
Manage macOS application packaging and deployment leveraging JAMF.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish application packaging standards, streamline deployment processes, and maintain application compliance.
Manage incident and problem tickets related to end-user architecture, providing prompt resolution and communication to stakeholders.
Conduct lifecycle management and QA testing for key productivity tools, hardware, and services, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance standards.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth understanding of enterprise endpoint technologies, including Windows 10/11, MS Endpoint Manager, Entra ID and Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Software Packaging & Deployment:
Hands-on experience packaging Windows applications using Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
Proficiency with JAMF for MacOS administration and application distribution.
Automation & Scripting:
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automating tasks and streamlining configuration management.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD methodologies for continuous application delivery is a plus.
Communication & Problem-Solving:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
