Title: QA Automation Engineer
Locations: Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX (5x/ week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range: $51 - $56/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer with a strong background in Information Technology to join our team. This role requires expertise in QA Automation and experience in client or big tech environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10 years of experience in Java within a service-oriented architecture
10 years of experience with Junit/TestNG, Jenkins, Gradle, SQL, JSON, XML
Experience in writing test automation frameworks for REST services
Experience in developing test strategies, test frameworks, and tools
Experience with web automation tools such as Selenium, Raft, etc.
Solid understanding of Internet Protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS
Expertise in building and maintaining test beds, test environments, and automated data-driven test suites
Experience developing frameworks from scratch using industry best practices
4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, focused on e-commerce/web applications testing
Solid understanding of NoSQLs like Couchbase, MongoDB, etc., and caching strategies
Strong communication and coordination skills
Familiarity with Splunk for investigating or monitoring problems on systems
Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, tools, and agile methodologies
Sharp troubleshooting skills and real-world systems deployment experience
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
