Pay Rate: $21.00/hourPosition SummaryWe are seeking detail-oriented Yard Management Coordinators to support real-time yardoperations by maintaining accurate trailer visibility, tracking load status, and managingexceptions across a high-volume, 24/7 distribution environment.This is a short-term project (8 weeks, with potential extension to 12 weeks) supportingoperational efficiency through administrative control, tracking, and communication-notphysical material handling.Responsibilities? Maintain real-time visibility of all trailers within the yard? Track and update:o Trailer numberso Carrier and SCAC codeso Yard locations (dock door, row, overflow, etc.)? Monitor and update trailer statuses including:o Checked In / Checked Outo Empty / Loaded / Partially Loadedo Awaiting Load / Awaiting Unloado Ready to Ship? Ensure accuracy of yard inventory vs. expected arrivals? Track and document trailer details including:o Load type (Inbound, Outbound, Shuttle, Transfer)o Shipment or reference numberso High-level contents (finished goods, raw materials, etc.)? Monitor and confirm:o Trailers ready to loado Trailers actively being loadedo Completed and sealed trailers? Identify and flag discrepancies between planned vs. actual loads? Proactively identify issues or inconsistencies in yard activity? Communicate updates and exceptions to operations leadership? Support overall yard flow by ensuring accurate, timely dataWhat This Role Is (and Is Not)? Administrative, tracking, and coordination focused? Data accuracy and real-time visibility driven? No forklift operation or physical material handling required? No transportation dispatching responsibilitiesRequirements? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills? Ability to manage and track multiple data points in real time? Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? Previous experience in: Logistics coordination and Warehouse or distributionenvironments (preferred)
