to support the new
Miramar Re-Engineering Project , which focuses on enhancing system configurations to drive efficiency, optimize implementation efforts, and reduce PMPM costs. Any Analysts with a track record of successfully delivering similar process improvements will be highly beneficial to this initiative.
Business Analyst Qualifications
Industry Expertise:
Strong background in
Medicare (MA, MAPD, PDP)
within both individual and employer group plans.
Experience with
employer eligibility file processing implementations .
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in writing
detailed system configuration requirements
and defining process automation strategies.
Ability to collaborate with development teams to enable
additional system configurations via UI for automation .
UX and Design:
Familiarity with
high-level UX design principles .
Experience in creating
wireframes and markup diagrams
to support system design discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with
technical, operations, and client teams
to gather, document, and validate requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of
eligibility processing workflows and file structures
in the Medicare or employer group plan space.
Experience in implementing solutions that align with
compliance requirements and industry standards .

Job Description:
The IT Business Analyst solves organizational information problems by analyzing requirements; designing system enhancements; recommending system controls and protocols. Working closely with business representatives and information technology teams, business analyst will translate business needs into effective process and software designs, helping business achieve its objectives using process and technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Initiates, participates and facilitates data modeling, process modeling and solution modeling
Designs and documents software solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications as needed
Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
Develops testing scenarios and assists with user acceptance testing for system and process changes
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Investigate service related issues to identify root cause of issues; identify and communicate business needs assessments as necessary.
Keeps abreast of trends and issues in the government healthcare insurance space.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, business, or operations management
Minimum of five to seven years of experience in similar role
A solid history of leading development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting technologists is required.
Experience in Healthcare Insurance Enrollment and Membership Services environment, with government sponsored program experience a big plus
