Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant in the vascular lab is a versatile role that provides a full range of varied responsibilities including but not limited to scheduling patients, acquiring pre-authorizations, frequent interactions with provider offices, secretarial, clerical and administrative support. The Administrative Assistant is the front desk person for the vascular lab with daily interactions with patients, visitors and providers. In this role the Administrative Assistant supports the vascular lab in providing a positive patient experience while ensuring that the needs of both internal and external customers are met.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's Degree in healthcare related field or relevant certificates such as Medical Assistant preferred.
Previous administrative, clerical or scheduling experience required.
Hospital, Medical office or medical scheduling experience preferred.
Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification and CPT coding preferred.
