Description
We are hiring a Packer / Shipper to prepare fabricated metal parts for shipment. This role is responsible for inspecting, packaging, labeling, and staging finished products to ensure they are delivered accurately and undamaged.
What you'll do:
Inspect finished metal parts or assemblies for quality and accuracy
Pack, wrap, and label parts according to job instructions
Prepare items for shipment using proper materials and methods
Verify counts and complete packing slips and shipping documents
Move completed orders to shipping or staging areas
Assist with loading/unloading materials as needed
Keep work area clean and organized
What we're looking for:
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift and move materials safely
Reliable attendance and good work habits
Manufacturing or shipping experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Position Requirements
Knowledge/Skills
Ability to follow instructions verbal and or written
Maintains accurate and complete records.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.
Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
