PLC Programmer
Salary:
$65,000-$85,000 per year (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking a PLC Programmer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing, commissioning, and supporting PLC and HMI systems for new and existing equipment, primarily using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, program, and improve PLC and HMI control systems
Develop electrical designs (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Service teams
Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and control systems
Support equipment testing, installation, and commissioning
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A, and safety standards
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (or related field), OR 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Work Schedule & Conditions
Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Additional hours and travel may be required
Mix of sitting and standing; occasional physical activity
