Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Storeroom Clerk for a long term contract in Axis, AL. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storeroom Clerk to support daily operations within a fast-paced plant environment. This role is highly interactive and requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and comfort working with frequent interruptions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize storeroom inventory including supplies, parts, and equipment
Assist employees in locating materials and fulfilling requests
Receive, check in, and distribute deliveries to appropriate departments
Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate records
Process shipments using UPS and internal systems
Support uniform distribution and tracking
Provide gate escort assistance as needed
Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy
Communicate effectively with employees across departments
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Professional email communication and etiquette
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, storeroom, or inventory-related role
Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment
