Description
TeleSolv Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Information Technology Project Manager to support government operations and enterprise-level system transformation initiatives.
This position supports the federal government, and all applicants must be able to work remotely with
availability for travel as needed .
The
Information Technology Project Manager
plays a vital role in supporting the Government's ongoing mission by leading
complex IT modernization efforts and enterprise system implementations . This role requires
strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously
while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
This position supports a Government program responsible for delivering
critical technology solutions and modernization initiatives . The Project Manager contributes to workflows that ensure
successful project delivery, stakeholder alignment, and long-term operational sustainability .
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation
of information system transformation projects.
Provide
strategic direction
for IT initiatives and organizational technology efforts.
Assist in defining
enterprise-level IT strategy and implementation approaches .
Define business and technical requirements
by collaborating with product owners, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to identify objectives and needs.
Manage
highly complex, large-scale enterprise IT projects , as well as smaller initiatives.
Coordinate and lead development teams and vendors
to ensure successful solution delivery.
Establish and maintain
project governance frameworks and monitoring controls .
Ensure projects are delivered
on time and within budget .
Oversee
project lifecycle activities , including planning, execution, and implementation.
Mentor personnel in project management practices
and support knowledge transfer to internal staff.
Potentially
train resources to assume project management responsibilities over time .
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Child Support program policies, procedures, and business practices
related to large-scale government or enterprise environments.
Experience supporting
system modernization initiatives .
Demonstrated success in
managing information technology solutions and projects .
PMP certification
or
equivalent project management experience .
Strong understanding of
software development methodologies , including
Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps .
Proven ability to apply
project management and governance principles
effectively.
Experience working with
cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical personnel .
Strong
analytical, organizational, and leadership skills .
Ability to manage
multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment .
Excellent
communication and stakeholder engagement skills .
