Agile Developer L3 / Full Stack Dev

We arelooking for an experienced Agile Developer to join their rapidly growing team!

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:
Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
Building Rest services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
Agile development and delivery software
Communication and collaboration:

Software Development is a team-oriented discipline
Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as stakeholders

Qualifications

An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required (Poly within the last 7 years)
BS + 9 yrs experience
Required Skills

Familiar with: spring, Kubernetes, docker, Terraform, Swagger and AWS managed services. System Requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, and Agile Methodology. Familiar with FOSS & GOTS
Cloud Experience: Shall have one (1) year demonstrated work experience with full stack development; front-end, API and backing datastores. Shall have demonstrated work experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, serialization such as JSON and/or BSON and CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features-Debug existing software and correct defects
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments-Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Write or review software and system documentation
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries

The projected compensation range for this position is $180K - $225K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
