Data Security Engineer

Role: Data Security Engineer
Rate: 60-80hr (the max is not guaranteed as it is commensurate on experience with the requirements)
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Full onsite in New Orleans, LA or Gulfport, MS
Details:
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
Appropriate networking skills to troubleshoot network flows, routing, packet captures, TCP/IP and SSL/TLS handshakes.
Knowledge of server and workstation operating system security configurations.
Expert knowledge on various security controls to include: firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, proxies/gateways, advanced end point security controls, certificate management, authentication solutions, data loss prevention, and identity access management
Required:
Hands-on Data Security experience (enterprise scale)
DLP ownership (design, implementation, tuning)
Microsoft Purview exposure (strong preference)
Investigation and/or POC experience related to data security
5+ years of security engineering experience
Full onsite Monday - Friday
