Salary: $1,539.38 - $1,739.38 /wk Become a vital part of a Pensacola, FL health system as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scanner equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients in an emergency/facility-based setting. Minimum Requirements: 2 years CT technologist experience. Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent radiologic technology education. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiology and CT. State of Florida licensure as required for radiologic technologists. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience performing all CT exams, including CTA and perfusion studies. Experience with GE CT equipment preferred. Comfort working in environments where a single technologist may cover both X-ray and CT during a shift preferred. Assignment Details: Facility type: Health System, Emergency/Facility-based department (FSED). Shift: Days. Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:00. Work days: Friday through Sunday. Unit profile: 15-bed observation/ED unit with combined X-ray and CT coverage. Required dress: black scrubs. Location Highlights. Additional Information: Unit uses GE imaging equipment and performs a full range of CT procedures, including CTA and perfusions. Typical scheduling requires 24-hour coverage with instances where one technologist covers both X-ray and CT. Department teamwork includes collaboration with ER staff and on-shift ultrasound technologists. Black scrubs required by unit dress code.
