Summary of Job Duties
The Assistant Extrusion Line Operator helps control and monitor the film production (roll stock of film/plastic) of his or her designated line(s). Oversees the quality, house-keeping, and safety of the designated extrusion line(s). Maintains clear communication with all Plant Departments in an effort to produce quality base film.
Wage (based on experience)
Starting wages for assistants range from $19 - $21+/hour
$2/hour shift differential on B-Shit
$4/hour shift differential on D-Shift
Hours:
B Shift:
Mon-Wed & every other Sun | 6p - 6am
($2/hour premium)
D-Shift:
Thurs – Sat and every other Sun | 6pm – 6am ($4/hour premium)
Requirements
1+ years of prior manufacturing experience required
Prior machine operator experience a plus
Prior experience working in extruding or blown film extruding is a plus
Understanding of basic math
Able to read a tape measure and understand basic measurements
Able to lift up to 50lbs and climb stairs
Able to work 12 hour shift with overtime as needed
Abele and willing to climb stairs and be ok working with heights
