
Lead Planner/Scheduler

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Refinery Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing refinery operations by developing comprehensive plans and schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refinery processes, possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, and be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to develop detailed production plans that align with refinery goals and objectives.
Analyze production requirements, inventory levels, and resource availability to create efficient and achievable production schedules.
Scheduling:
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for refinery operations.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of the production schedule, taking into account equipment availability and maintenance requirements.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Resource Optimization:
Optimize the utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Work closely with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and spare parts.
Data Analysis:
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in refinery processes.
Utilize historical data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and continuously enhance planning and scheduling processes.
