Transaction Processor (Lockbox Processing)
Location: Nashville, TN 37214
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM until work is complete
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Transaction Processor to support lockbox payment processing operations in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for extracting mail, processing payments, and preparing documents according to customer instructions within established timeframes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate mail extraction equipment and process incoming lockbox payments
Sort and stage documents according to client processing instructions
Review and prepare documents for scanning and data capture
Make basic payment processing decisions based on established procedures
Ensure documents are accurate and organized for processing
Meet departmental productivity and quality standards
Cross-train to support other functions within the Lockbox department
Assist with additional processing tasks such as scanning, validation, and mail distribution
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills (mouse, touchscreen navigation, rebooting systems, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Prior experience in payment processing, remittance processing, or lockbox operations
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (1-2 hours at times)
Frequent movement throughout the workday
Retrieving printed documents and preparing work batches multiple times daily
